About Me 

Hi there! My name is Jaclyn (Jackie) Shapiro. I am originally from the metro Detroit area and am a Michigan State alumna for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees!

 

I am currently a Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting just 30 minutes from the town I grew up at a staffing firm called Blue Chip Talent. Here, I recruit clients and help them find the most qualified candidates. At the same time, I help those candidates find their dream job. 

 

I love what I do and always strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others! Building relationships is the most important thing to me in both my personal and professional life. I do my best to listen to others and help in any way I can.

Outside of work, one of my favorite things to do is read. My favorite genre is psychological thrillers, but I also geek out on some fantasy!  I have also been pretty athletic my whole life and played soccer, tennis, and volleyball growing up. Now, I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, and wakeboarding when weather permits! I definitely love an adventure.
